

Nitro Pro 8 has a familiar ribbon interface and is quite visual with tabs for common user tasks. However, in recent years Adobe Acrobat Professional has grown in features, making the interface a bit hard for more novice users, especially since there are a lot of features an everyday Acrobat user never touches. The first time I tried Nitro Pro, the user interface won me over and I came up through the technical writer ranks as a heavy Adobe Acrobat Professional user. Pricing is $119.99/single copy at launch. It’s a definite challenger to the more established and better-known Adobe Acrobat Professional. However, the newly released Nitro Pro 8 is a PDF creator and editor from Nitro that packs some powerful features in a very usable package.
